(2020)
VREAL is a company specializing in the virtual recreation of locations in HR. They work with both public and private clients. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were looking for a new brand identity that could relate to a growing user group: teenagers.

VR is not a new kind of technology, but its use has recently been introduced to the general population. That is why it was important for the client to show in simple steps how their business model and platform work.
To help them visualize the project I created over 30 personalized icons and charts that will easily portray the multi-sensorial experience they offer for users and explain how sites are created for clients.
The time to develop the project was limited, so I used imagery found in the client’s platform to create the graphics of the new worlds to be discovered.
VR is a portal to a new, unexplored, and fantastic world far away from us.
During the first months of the COVID pandemic we also started to realize that it may serve as a portal to spaces that are nearby, but temporarily inaccessible.

Goals
The website works as a connection terminal (an online airport) where you can jump from one destination to the other seamlessly.
A vintage video game aesthetic appeals to the new user group (teens), whilst remaining familiar for older user groups.
The Information Architecture of the site was kept simple. Virtual locations were grouped by type.
Over 30 personalized icons and charts were created for a seamless multi-sensorial user experience that easily explains the way in which virtual locations are created for clients.

Logo
I got my inspiration from VR technology, the client's existing virtual locations, video games, and space, all have a similar characteristic: they are in constant movement and waiting to be discovered/created.
